VHS to Digital converter
The Welland Public Library's VHS to Digital converter is available for public use at the Innovation Station. This device allows you to convert standard-size VHS tapes to Digital format. Bring your a blank USB flash drive or microSD card (512 GB or less) to store your media.
The device is self-serve and is available to the public on a first-come, first-served basis. The conversion process involves playing the VHS tape at normal speed, so a 2-hour VHS tape will take 2 hours to convert to Digital format.
Note: patrons are not permitted to copy feature films or other copyright-protected content.
