Let’s get creative!! Mardi Gras is in the air! Parents and teens participate in making a Mardi Gras Mask making contest. Create at home and send us a picture of it by Feb 10th. We will judge the best teen and best adult submission. Pick up your mask kits with instructions and a photo waiver form to sign starting January 10th at all branches.

CAA Niagara presents “There’s No Place Like Home” travel Ontario and Canada presentations. Join via Zoom for some incredible scenery and tours right in our own backyard with Danielle Petura. Her career in the travel industry began on an impulse. After seeing how happy coach tour passengers were following a trip to Niagara, she applied for her tour guide license and the rest is history. She became an independent step-on guide working with numerous companies and groups. Registration required.

Owen Bjorgan shares his story of his beautiful and harrowing solo expedition on Canada's oldest and longest marked hiking trail. The scenery of southern Ontario will definitely surprise you, the stories will make you wince, and the heartwarming community effort to support this hike will inspire. Q+A at end of presentation.
Refine your creative writing skills and re-claim your voice as we explore raw and vulnerable stories about our lives. This class will explore life writing prompts, how to tell stories and also the professional side, as in how to get published. This class will include optional homework exercises between classes and the chance to share writing in a supportive group environment. The objective of this class is to provide the tools to explore life writing and gain confidence in writing skills and a basic understanding of how to publish short pieces.
