April is Poetry Month and Our Facebook Contest is BACK!

To celebrate National Poetry Month, we are bringing back our Facebook Poetry Contest. This contest is open to poets of all ages. We encourage everyone to head to our Facebook Page (https://www NULL.facebook NULL.com/wellandpubliclibrary/), click the link to submit an original poem and start getting votes to win!

The winner will be announced at our Poetry Month Coffeehouse event taking place Friday, May 6. Doors open at 6:30 pm. The coffeehouse will allow aspiring poets to share their poetry as well as listen to a reading from Adam Dickinson, local award winning poet and professor at Brock University, and local poet Keith Inman. Enjoy coffee and snacks provided by The Black Sheep Lounge. Free tickets can be picked up at the Circulation Desk at either branch. For more information, please call 905-734-6210 ext. 2521
