Art on the Boardwalk- Great Success!

Saturday, November 2nd marked the First “Art on the Boardwalk” courtesy of the Library Board’s Fundraising Committee. Over 90 guests enjoyed beer and wine from Niagara College, delicious food prepared by Eastdale Secondary School students and entertainment by Cory Cruise and Senegal Astroturf (a group of Centennial Secondary School Graduates). Special thanks to Mark Matthews, our Auctioneer, who brought the house down with his great sense of humour and helped us raise over $2000 at our Live Auction. Our Silent Auction was a big hit, raising $3000. We are pleased the funds will go to adding Early Literacy Computer Stations to the Diamond Trail Branch of the Welland Public Library, thanks to the support of an amazing community!

Special thanks to our sponsors:

The District School Board of Niagara, Niagara College and Giant FM, as well as Boston Pizza, TD Bank, Rice Road Greenhouses and Picture Perfect Gallery, The Welland Recreational Canal Corporation, Fabricland and our local media for their support.

Thank you to everyone who came for making this signature night a success. We live in a great community and it was great to be together to celebrate and invest in our future together.
