CANVAS & COFFEE: Painting with Kim Moreau; May 25th 630pm

(in support of Welland’s Outpatient Mental Health Clinic)
This exciting paint party event will take place on Thursday, May 25th from 6:30-8:30 pm in the Community Room.

Have you ever wanted to try a painting party but were discouraged by the cost, location, or a lack of experience? Well, we’ve got just the answer for you! The Welland Public Library is hosting its first ever Canvas & Coffee painting event on May 25th at 6:30 pm led by artist and art teacher, Kim Moreau. No experience is required; and even better: the event is free with your donation of a new aluminum water bottle and/or bottle of adult sunscreen! These items will be donated to the Outpatient Mental Health Clinic in Welland. This clinic offers a group-based program that helps people living with mental health issues learn to cope with – and hopefully alleviate – their mental health symptoms. The severity of these symptoms often hinders the person’s ability to work; their primary modes of transportation are taking the bus, riding bikes, or walking. These donations will help reduce the risks of sun exposure and provide for a happier, healthier summer. Come out for a fun evening with friends and support this great cause! Light refreshments will be provided.

Tickets will be available on May 1st but are very limited so please act fast! Donations will be collected at time of ticket pick up.
