This WPL event kicks off a full day of celebrating poetry that continues at 6pm at The Black Sheep Lounge with the return of the Grey Borders Magazine Reading Series.

THE CONTEST:

The Welland Public Library invites YOU to share your poetry during an open mic session at this event! Enter for the chance to have your poetry featured in Grey Borders Magazine!  If you see poetry in pictures, this contest is also for you!

The 2017 National Poetry month theme is Time; participants should explore this theme in relation to Canada and its 150 years or Welland’s 100th anniversary of becoming a city.
